One of our main focus is to conscientize the human being about its impact on the surrounding ecosystem. Enemy number one of any parrot species worldwide are humans. Using the educational material of our cooperation partner Defenders of Wildlife we are visiting schools and local events like fairs to talk about the loss of parrot habitat and extinction. We are emphasizing the potential of sustainable eco-tourism and the joy of observing wild flocks of parrots as well as any other animal in a biodiverse environment.
Eines unserer Hauptanliegen ist es, den Menschen bewusst zu machen, welchen Einfluss sie auf das Ökosystem, in dem sie sich befinden, haben. Der Feind Nummer Eins jeder Papageienart weltweit ist der Mensch. Ausgestattet mit dem Bildungsmaterial unseres Kooperationspartners Defenders of Wildlife, besuchen wir Schulen und lokale Veranstaltungen wie z.B. Messen, um über den Verlust des Lebensraumes der Papageien und von ihrem Aussterben zu erzählen. Im Zentrum unserer Aufklärungsarbeit steht dabei das Potential von nachhaltigem, lebensfreundlichem Ökotourismus und die Freude am Beobachten wilder Papageien und anderer Tierarten in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung.
Uno de nuestros principales objetivos es concientizar al ser humano sobre su impacto en el ecosistema circundante. El enemigo número uno de cualquier especie de loro en todo el mundo son los humanos. Usando el material educativo de nuestro socio cooperativo Defenders of Wildlife, estamos visitando escuelas y eventos locales para hablar sobre la pérdida del hábitat de los loros y su extinción en el medioambiente. Estamos enfatizando el potencial del ecoturismo sostenible y la alegría de observar bandadas loros salvajes, así como cualquier otro animal en un entorno natural.
